The EOC, the multisite hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory with a total of 1,000 beds. The organization effectively combines a local approach and an overall vision, guaranteeing the population a comprehensive and nearby hospital offer, regardless of where the services are requested.
Thanks to the commitment and competence of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relations, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients annually and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.
The Surgery Services of the Hospitals of Lugano, Mendrisio, Locarno, and Bellinzona collaborate in the clinical training of assistant physicians in training and consequently in recruiting new candidates.

Profile
The person we are looking for must have motivation, initiative, and a spirit of collaboration. They believe, as we do, in the importance of putting the patient and their family at the center of all our attention.
Necessary requirements
- Degree in human medicine (for foreign qualifications, recognition of the degree by the Federal Commission of Medical Professions Mebeko is required before starting the activity);
- Registration in the medical professions register MedReg;
- Knowledge of the Italian language, according to the LPMed provisions in force since January 1, 2018;
- Knowledge of a second Swiss national language (German or French, preferably at B2 level);
- Knowledge of the functioning and requirements of the Swiss training pathway (Surgery | SIWF)
