Laboratory Technician Analytical Development

To strengthen our Analytical Development Team at Arxada in Visp, Switzerland we are looking for a laboratory technician for our analytical development laboratory.

Main tasks

• Analytical support of chemical process development and process optimisation
• Preparation, execution and documentation of analyses, method developments and validations under ISO9001 quality standards
• Discussion of analysis orders and results with internal customers
• Maintenance, servicing and qualification of analytical instruments and support of software systems
• Creation of test instructions, validation reports and equipment SOPs

Qualifications & experience

• Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician with professional experience
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• Practical experience and expertise in the field of instrumental analytics (especially chromatography, titration, UV/Vis and IR spectroscopy)
• Interest in analytical questions
• Ability and willingness to instruct employees and trainees and to pass on knowledge
• Independent, responsible personality with good communication and teamwork skills
• Structured and safety-conscious working method
• Motivated, committed and a high degree of initiative
