Training Advisor / Instructor (80-100%; m/f/d)

The Intercantonal Fire Brigade Training Center offers diverse training and exercise opportunities for fire brigade members and is looking for a Training Advisor / Instructor (80-100%; m/f/d) to start immediately or by arrangement.

You plan fire brigade training and train fire brigade members in Europe-wide unique training facilities for handling incidents in underground traffic facilities.

Your main tasks

• Advising fire brigades and authorities regarding training for tunnel operations abroad in Europe, with a focus on the French-speaking area
• Compiling and offering tunnel training in close contact with the customer
• Instruction as a class teacher, course commander, and on-site with the customer

In this varied role, you accompany fire brigades in gaining valuable experience and are responsible for planning tunnel training and customer support in your area of responsibility. Thanks to very flexible working hours, you will be well able to continue your instructional activities in your canton.

Your profile

You are an open and communicative personality with a confident and competent demeanor. Written and spoken communication in French and German is no problem for you; oral knowledge of English is an advantage. You are willing to travel 20-30% for customer consultations and on-site training. As a Swiss fire brigade instructor (or equivalent training), you ideally have additional training in adult education. You are a team player. Your profile is complemented by very good MS Office skills as well as precise and independent work.
