The position is attached to the Department of Surgery . This department provides care for patients, both elective and emergency. It represents a centre of excellence, not only Swiss but also European in several fields and in many of its surgical specialties.
Job Description
You wish to prepare your postgraduate title with renowned specialists in surgery.
Under the supervision of senior physicians, you assume medical care for the patients entrusted to you. You carry out practical activities, clinical and therapeutic interventions. In your practice, you ensure the application of internal rules and procedures, while guaranteeing the quality of the medical services provided.
You undertake a rotation within the Department of Surgery and work in different medical services through rotations lasting six months.
Working in a stimulating university environment, within a multidisciplinary team, you also contribute to the training of trainee doctors.
Alongside your activity, you benefit from high-quality postgraduate training contributing to obtaining your FMH specialist title in general surgery or another specialty. In this respect, you develop your training according to the training plan and FMH requirements.
Qualifications
You hold the federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
You have a perfect command of the French language (C1 level required) and very good written and oral communication skills.
Possessing excellent skills in communicating within a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible and committed person. Furthermore, you have demonstrated strong adaptability skills.
