Adult Nutrition Dietitian
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
Attached to the CHUV Department of Medicine, the Endocrinology, Diabetology and Metabolism Service specialises in endocrinology, diabetes, lipids, obesity as well as eating disorders and nutrition. Our approach is multidisciplinary, patient-centred, with cutting-edge clinical practice based on the latest advances in medical research.
The CHUV dietitian team carries out their activities in all specialties of the institution's various departments (several sites).
Mission
- You ensure nutritional care for hospitalised patients in the various adult sectors and more specifically in geriatrics at the Sylvana site
- You ensure the identification, planning, execution and evaluation of nutritional care in the preventive, curative, palliative and educational fields for patients through clinical assessment, respecting professional standards and the rules in force within the institution
- You ensure the proper execution of delegated medical acts and interdisciplinary work and take responsibility for it by developing your skills
- You play an active role in organising work, ensuring the smooth running and continuity of team activities through communication and coordination skills within the interprofessional team
- You develop disease and accident prevention actions, health maintenance and promotion as well as functional rehabilitation and social reintegration through teaching approaches
- You participate in the development of the profession and in efforts to improve the efficiency of nutrition care based on scientific evidence, as well as its self-assessment and learning capacities.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor of Science in Swiss nutrition and dietetics or equivalent CRS
- You have professional experience and a strong interest in clinical nutrition
- You have a perfect command of French (level C1) as well as scientific English (spoken and written)
- You enjoy working in a team and autonomously, while respecting professional standards and the rules in force within the institution
- You have good priority and stress management skills
- You have experience working in an interprofessional environment.
