order around the clock in the canton of St. Gallen. It solves crimes and monitors compliance with applicable laws.

The Criminal Service is responsible for basic criminal police services and the corresponding investigations in the city of St. Gallen.

Employee SO Criminal Service with Search Tasks (m/f/d)

Position: 80-100%

Workplace: 9001 St. Gallen

What to expect

• Deployment in case of events and initiation of immediate measures
• Handling of all criminal offenses and receipt of reports, mainly in the area of the Criminal Code, within the city of St. Gallen
• Search and investigation tasks, especially in the areas of crimes against life and limb, robbery and property offenses, cybercrimes, and drug offenses
• Collaboration with other police departments and authorities to solve crimes
• Analysis of data and information to identify suspects and recognize connections
• Preparation of search and investigation files as well as reports
• Working in shifts in a new work model with partial on-call duty at home

What distinguishes you

• Federal specialist certificate as a police officer
• Proven police knowledge in basic services and/or experience in criminal police work
• Knowledge in the use of police information systems and databases
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Initiative, reliability, and sense of responsibility
• Willingness to participate in further training and courses
