About the job
Our thermal analysis devices are mechatronic systems of the highest quality and performance for determining a wide range of thermal and mechanical properties. They are used by our customers for research, development, and quality assurance of substances and materials of all kinds. For our global headquarters in Nänikon-Greifensee, we are looking to strengthen our software team with a committed Senior Software Engineer 80 – 100% (all genders), who will actively shape the future of our PC-based software solutions. In this role, you will undertake the following tasks: You will contribute to the further development of a complex, innovative PC-based application software. You will drive the replacement and modernisation of existing subsystems, especially in the area of the integrated database management system and the graphical user interface. You will take on architectural tasks to abstract operating system and open-source components. You will develop specifications, designs, and test concepts within our development process. You will support product launches as well as the maintenance and further development of existing products on the market. You will work closely with interdisciplinary project teams from product management, electronics, mechanics, and sensor development.
