Event Technician – Venue Operator

Your area of responsibility

After task-specific training, you will take responsibility for the execution of your projects. You

• make the technical preliminary clarifications with the customers and the involved partners
• obtain project-specific quotes from the defined suppliers
• actively participate in the planning and the setup and dismantling of the event technology
• programme and operate the technology used on site
• independently manage and carry out smaller projects and lead sub-projects at larger events
• are occasionally happy to be deployed as a venue technician on site

Your profile

After your solid basic training (event technician, multimedia electronics technician, IT specialist or similar), you are looking to enter the professional event and venue industry (or have already successfully done so). As a (future) event and venue technician, you may already have worked on various event or venue projects. In addition to the common IT tools, you master the German language in spoken and written form and can converse well and confidently in English. You love it when "something is happening" and handle irregular working hours sportingly (a driving licence is mandatory). Service-oriented thinking and acting and above all joy in professional work characterise you. As an event technician, you primarily see yourself as a service provider and place customer satisfaction first.
