As a technical specialist in the Machine Technology department, you are responsible for the independent planning and coordination of maintenance activities on mechanical components (valves & pumps) as well as systems. In this role, you take on responsibility and enjoy the freedom and flexibility to contribute and implement your own ideas and solutions.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Processing of fault-related maintenance reports and deriving timely and professional maintenance measures
• Independent planning and coordination of planned maintenance work on mechanical components such as pumps, fans, compressors, valves, and systems
• Technical support of maintenance personnel on site
• Inspection and assessment of components
• Ensuring requirements regarding quality and workplace safety
• Creating and revising work instructions and technical documents
• Supervising external personnel during plant operation or shutdowns for revisions
• Willingness to work outside normal working hours (especially during revision shutdowns / fuel element changes)

Profile & Skills

• Completed vocational training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) in mechanical engineering (polymechanic, automotive, or agricultural machinery mechanic)
• Further education as a technician HF or engineer FH/HTL (or equivalent) in the field of machine technology/maintenance
• Experience in maintenance of components (valves/pumps/systems) in the power plant sector, preferably nuclear facilities
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP-PM
• Good English skills in spoken and written form
• Independent, reliable, and flexible personality
