s.a.m. – immobilien architektur management gmbh, abbreviated sam-iam, is looking for an architect who not only draws projects but also thinks along, drives them forward, and accompanies them through to implementation.

We like beautiful architecture. Clear, coherent, and carefully formulated. But we don’t need to appear on every architecture blog.

We are interested in architecture that fits the location, the client, and the budget – and ultimately really works.

What you will do with us

• You take responsibility for your projects and accompany them from the design through the building application to and including execution
• You develop and refine designs
• You work independently with Archicad or Vectorworks
• You create project, approval, and execution plans
• You develop details that don’t just look good on screen
• You coordinate specialist planners and project participants
• You clarify building law questions directly with municipalities and authorities
• You guide building applications through the approval procedures
• You ensure that the necessary approvals are obtained in good time
• You work closely with our site management

In short:

You don’t just draw plans. You ensure that houses are built from them. With us, design, planning, and realisation are closely linked.

 What we are looking for

• You have studied architecture or are a TS technician and have already gained experience in Switzerland.
• You speak and write fluent German.
• You are confident in design but also enjoy execution, construction, and details.
• If you get stuck on a construction project, you don’t wait for someone to put the solution on the table. You clarify, call the specialist planner or the municipality, and move the issue forward.
• Experience and solid knowledge of approval procedures in the canton of Zurich – ideally around Lake Zurich and in the Zurich Oberland – is a big plus for us.
