As Head of Finance & Controlling, you take overall responsibility for operational financial management, accounting, and controlling of all companies within the group. You lead your team both professionally and personally and act as a sparring partner for the management in all financial matters.

The role deliberately goes beyond purely operational execution: we are looking for someone who acts in an advisory capacity, sets guardrails, finds pragmatic solutions, and constructively questions existing processes.

Head of Finance & Controlling 100% (m/f/d)

• Financial accounting & annual financial statements: You take responsibility for the accounting of all companies, prepare individual and consolidated financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and manage the audit process
• Liquidity & holding structure: You monitor and control liquidity across the entire holding structure, liquidity planning, as well as intercompany settlements and foreign currency management (especially EUR)
• Real estate & banks: You act as a sparring partner in real estate financing (mortgages, debt/equity ratio) and conduct discussions with banks in cooperation with management
• Taxes: You manage and coordinate tax matters (VAT, direct taxes) in collaboration with external specialists
• Budgeting & controlling: You are responsible for preparing meaningful key figures for the management cockpit and support the department heads in budget preparation
• Leadership: You take on the professional and personal leadership of your team of 6 people. You create an environment where employees can grow, take responsibility, and develop further

Professional competencies:

• You have a commercial education with further training in finance and accounting (e.g. certified finance and accounting specialist, certified expert in accounting and controlling, university of applied sciences degree or equivalent)
• You bring several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a holding structure with multiple companies
• You have solid experience in preparing individual and consolidated financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER.
• You demonstrate an understanding of Swiss tax law (VAT, direct taxes) – taxes and coordination are carried out in cooperation with external specialists
• You bring experience in liquidity management across a holding structure as well as in foreign currency management (especially EUR)
• You have an understanding of real estate financing (mortgages, debt/equity understanding, bank financing)
• You have proven experience in the professional and personal leadership of teams
• You have German language skills at native or C2 level

Advantageous:

• You have experience in the automotive industry or car trade
• You have experience supporting audits
• You are characterised by an innovative and digital mindset and are ready to actively further develop financial processes with new technologies
• You have knowledge in setting up internal control systems (ICS) and risk management
