Make a difference for patients
We are looking for a meticulous, proactive and collaborative Utilities Maintenance Technician to join us on our Braine-l'Alleud campus, Belgium.
About the role
As a Utilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for technical interventions and improvements as part of the maintenance of the utilities installations at the Braine site, following the rules established within the CMMS framework. You will work day shifts, with the possibility of on-call duties.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate with a dynamic team within the Support Services department. Together, you will work closely with users to improve and develop the utilities installations. You will also interact with various stakeholders to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of the equipment.
What you will do
- You participate in the improvements and developments of Utilities installations.
- You perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
- You report any anomalies, errors or incidents to management.
- You prepare and write maintenance instructions and technical files.
- You ensure documentation before and after maintenance operations.
- You follow GMP and GLP rules and maintain safety and environmental standards.
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Minimum an A2 in a technical field with 3 to 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics.
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or food company is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of utilities (steam, water, heating, ventilation) and refrigeration techniques, HVAC.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings.
- Very good knowledge of French; practical knowledge of technical English is a plus.
- Pragmatic, rigorous and able to work independently.
- Good team spirit and communication skills.
