Internship – Platform Engineer - Secure Cloud-Native Platforms for Financial Services

As part of our Platform Engineering team, you will contribute to the evolution of a secure cloud-native platform that empowers engineering teams across the organization. Working in a highly regulated financial environment, you will help design and implement self-service capabilities, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes-based platform services, and observability integrations, while gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies such as OpenShift, Terraform, Go, Python, and Crossplane. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on enterprise-scale platform engineering challenges that improve developer experience, operational efficiency, and security.

YOUR ROLE

• Design and implement automation solutions that improve developer experience.
• Develop and enhance platform integrations, and self-service workflows.
• Build infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Go, Python and more.
• Contribute to self-service platform capabilities based on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Help define and implement reusable templates and "golden paths".
• Integrate platform services with observability solutions to improve monitoring and operational visibility.
• Contribute to secure platform services including certificate management and infrastructure provisioning.
• Work closely with platform engineers, architects, and software dev teams.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master's student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Platform Engineering, cloud-native technologies, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Curiosity, analytical thinking, and a hands-on problem-solving mindset.
• Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
