Development Engineer for the Power Tools Sector (m/f/d)

Job Description

Your main tasks:

• Design and construction of individual parts, assemblies up to complete power tools in 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
• Creation of drawings according to ISO GPS standard specifications (manufacturing documents)
• Design and calculation of components
• Further development of concepts into series-ready products – from design through model creation to the preparation of manufacturing documents and documentation
• Technical documentation and maintenance of bills of materials in SAP
• Communication and technical coordination with suppliers
• Close collaboration with testing, assembly, purchasing and project management

Your profile

What we are looking for:

• Development engineer with a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
• Several years of experience (5+) in the conception, development and design of mechanical or electromechanical components or assemblies ready for series production
• Confident handling and knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Advanced knowledge in the selection of suitable materials
• Innovative ability and hands-on mentality, especially in the context of power tools
• Advanced experience in the design and layout of pressure and injection moulded parts
• Structured and independent working style
• Teamwork and strong communication skills
• Creativity and team spirit
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Confident use of MS Office products
• Assertiveness and very good communication skills complete your profile
