Your tasks
- Responsibility for the strategic development as well as for the conception, implementation, and life-cycle management of regulatory & business policy monitoring rules in a central rules engine
- Analysing and evaluating complex regulatory requirements as well as deriving and implementing sustainable solutions, both technically and professionally
- Co-responsibility for the rules engine application, identifying weaknesses and implementing measures to minimise risks as well as ensuring IT security standards
- Proactively managing and coordinating internal team projects in the area of risk monitoring, including professional leadership of interdisciplinary project teams
- Building and maintaining effective stakeholder management as well as close collaboration with sales, product management, trading, legal & compliance, and other internal and external partners
- Central point of contact for sales queries on technical matters
- Monitoring and continuously optimising existing monitoring processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Your profile
- Completed studies (university/fachhochschule) in economics, finance, or a related field; ideally complemented by further training (e.g. CFA, FRM, CAS in Compliance)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in risk management with a focus on investment and pension business
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. MiFID II, FIDLEG) and their practical implementation
- Experience in project management and/or professional leadership of teams, ideally in an agile environment (e.g. SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban)
- Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for understanding complex issues and developing innovative solutions
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and the ability to act confidently even in demanding situations
- Very good German language skills
