Job Description

• Execution of correct and operation-specific positioning of the patient in all specialist areas
• Carrying out preparatory and follow-up measures for operations
• Co-responsibility for the smooth running of the operating theatre process by ensuring patient positioning
• Ensuring patient well-being and patient safety
• Checking all medical-technical devices for completeness and functionality as well as their operation
• Supporting the surgical team during operative procedures
• Compliance with hygiene and asepsis rules
• General cleaning and replenishment tasks as well as maintaining order in all rooms of the operating theatre area
• Ensuring complete patient documentation and performance recording
• Respectful interaction with patients, customers and hospital staff

Qualifications

• Completed specialist course in operating theatre positioning as well as many years of experience in this role
• Technical skill
• Sense of responsibility, commitment and flexibility
• Open and team-oriented personality
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
