The Oberi Children's and Youth Home is an offer of the residential youth welfare of the city of Winterthur. In our four coeducational and mixed-age residential groups, we offer a total of 32 places for children and young people aged 6 to 18 years. For our residential group with eight children aged 5 to 12 years, we are looking for a committed social pedagogue as of February 1, 2026. You will accompany and support the children in everyday life and contribute to their holistic development and promotion with professional competence, heart, and commitment.

Your Tasks

Accompanying and promoting the children in everyday life as well as supporting them in mastering their developmental tasks

Promoting and caring for two reference children

Planning, organizing, and conducting regular conversations with the children, parents, and guardians within the framework of the reference person work

Maintaining documentation in the case management system

Shaping the team and group process

Participation in winter sports and summer camps

Your Profile

Completed training in social pedagogy FH or HF

Team, conflict, and reflection skills

Stable and resilient personality with a positive view of people and healthy assertiveness

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to work night, evening, and weekend shifts
