For our Society Department we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed person as
Specialist in Children and Youth 80 %
This is your job:
- Central contact point for questions about children and young people
- You implement the children and youth concept and further develop concepts, projects and measures
- Bring the concerns of young people into specialist processes and politics and strengthen their participation
- Manage the youth counselling centre "Beratung 16.25" and coordinate suitable support services if necessary
- Maintain your network, work with specialist agencies and institutions and represent Rüti in expert committees
- Responsible for the budget and work closely with the youth commission, administration and political bodies
This is what you bring:
- Bachelor in Social Work or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in child and youth promotion as well as in project work
- You like to develop ideas and drive them forward with vigour
- You communicate clearly, connect different interests and meet people openly and appreciatively
- You like to take responsibility, work independently and think in a networked and holistic way
And very important:
Expert knowledge is great - passion for children and young people is a must!
