Technician Production Control Systems (MES)

• Support, administration and further development of our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Management of projects related to digital transformation in the MES/ERP area
• Training and support of MES key users in production
• Co-development, support and implementation of our strategy for plant digitalisation across all swisspor plants
• Analysis and optimisation of production processes in collaboration with manufacturing
• Design of innovative automation concepts for new production plants in close cooperation with process engineering and suppliers
• Working at all levels of the automation pyramid (ERP, MES, SCADA, PLC)

• Completed training or degree in computer science, automation technology, production engineering or comparable field.
• Advanced training (HF/FH) in automation and computer science
• Professional experience with MES systems or similar IT systems.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an advantage
• Understanding of automation protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT or similar)
• You work independently, hands-on and solution-oriented – and are pleasantly uncomplicated in collaboration.
• As a sparring partner and service provider, you support the business in a solution-oriented and effective manner.
• Open to travel up to 20% domestically and abroad (Europe)
• Good German and English skills
