What you can achieve
- Strategic advice to management in the area of High Secure IT / Cyber on financial, operational and commercial issues
- Building and maintaining a strong business partner relationship with project managers, engineering, cyber teams and senior management
- Deputising for the Director Finance Business Partnering including leading selected finance topics and representing in management committees
- Ensuring a financially robust decision-making basis for investments, programmes and security-critical projects
- Responsibility for segments in defence divisional controlling including forecasting, budgeting and monthly performance reporting
- Analysis of complex project and programme structures (including cyber programmes, high secure IT infrastructures, defence systems)
- Preparation of profitability calculations, scenarios, risk analyses and KPI dashboards
- Support in the further development of finance processes, standards and tools (interface controlling to accounting)
- Participation in internal and external audits, ICS projects, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as M&A activities
- Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, defence regulations and audit requirements
- Shaping the digital transformation in the finance area, contributing to the introduction of BI tools and identifying new technologies to increase efficiency and improve quality
What you bring with you
- Higher business administration education (FH/University) and/or a specialised further education with a focus on finance/controlling
- Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in controlling, ideally in business partnering or divisional controlling
- Sound knowledge in finance and accounting
- Knowledge in data analytics or automated forecasting methods as well as AI tools
- Experience with POC valuation methods (Percentage of Completion) or controlling in project business in technically demanding environments
- Experience in technology or defence environment is an advantage but not mandatory
- Very good analytical skills, strong affinity for numbers and pronounced process understanding
- Experience with SAP S/4 Hana (modules CO, FI, PS) is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
