Since its founding over 40 years ago, intercycle has been an important link between international brands and active people in Switzerland. As an agile trading company, we detect trends in the cycling and sports market and import the appropriate products into the local market. We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to start immediately or by arrangement, so that customer needs can continuously be met with the latest trends, offers, and services.
Your Tasks
- Brand management and sales responsibility for globally leading brands such as Segway
- Implementation and derivation of international strategies in the national market regarding marketing and sales
- Creating, realising, and controlling a sustainable annual plan
- Compliance with quantitative and qualitative goals as well as respective purchasing budgets
- Assortment design for the Swiss market
- Preparation of calculations, price lists, and sales concepts
- Procurement, quantity framework, forecast & planning information as well as ensuring availability & supply chain
- Monitoring and analysing the market, researching and evaluating competing products/offers
- Creating reports on competition and success analyses
- Organising and conducting product training for dealers, partners, and customer advisors
- Coordinating all stakeholders around the brand ecosystems
- Assisting in the preparation, design, and execution of trade fairs, events, and promotions
Your Profile
- Completed commercial or technical basic training, preferably with further education in product management or marketing
- Professional experience in a comparable role
- Experience and strong affinity for the bicycle and sports industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset and responsible working style
- Good organisational skills, communication skills, and negotiation ability
- Independent, reliable, and structured working method
- High commitment, pronounced team spirit, and good manners
- Fluent German skills and very good English skills in spoken and written form
- Very good ICT user skills (Microsoft Dynamics AX, MS Office, InDesign)
- Willingness to travel to production sites and international trade fairs
