HWZ is the largest university of applied sciences in Switzerland offering exclusively part-time study programmes in the field of business. The HWZ Academy is part of HWZ’s comprehensive range of services for lifelong learning. As a continuing education partner and guide, it offers current continuing education content for practical application. The approximately 100 public seminars are aimed at professionals and managers who wish to further their education in a compact, practice-oriented and topic-specific manner. The focus is always on the application of the knowledge learned in practice. The HWZ Academy also acts as an innovation platform for the entire university and develops new content and educational formats together with the departments.

Team Leader Academy 80 %

Your Main Tasks

• Leadership of the Academy Team: Personnel and professional leadership of the Academy team, translating strategy into team goals as well as promoting employees and forward-looking resource planning
• Operational Management: Overall responsibility for the implementation of the approximately 100 public seminars and the continuous development of operational processes
• Programme Development: Responsibility for the development and implementation of educational offerings – from needs analysis and definition of the offer to commissioning and coordination of external lecturers to market launch and further development
• Corporate Offers: Responsibility for planning and implementing corporate training, including needs clarification, customer support as well as coordination and management of the involved lecturers
• Quality & Lecturers: Responsibility for quality management, evaluation analysis, maintenance and expansion of the pool of lecturers
• Portfolio & Market: Analysis of market, competition and educational trends as well as further development of the offer portfolio
• Marketing & Partnerships: Responsibility for Academy communication in collaboration with Marketing & Communication as well as maintenance and expansion of the partner network
• Strategy & Positioning: Participation in the further development and positioning of the HWZ Academy as well as preparation of decision-making bases for the Academy management
• Collaboration & Projects: Close cooperation with the HWZ ecosystems and participation in central university projects

Your Profile

• Completed studies at Bachelor or HF level preferred, ideally in business administration, educational management or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in continuing education, educational management or in the development and organisation of educational offerings
• Experience in leading teams as well as in project management
• Experience in implementing continuing education offerings; knowledge of digital and hybrid learning formats is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong understanding of market and customer needs as well as enthusiasm for further developing offerings
• Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style with strong organisational talent
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as confident appearance towards lecturers, partners and corporate clients
• Affinity for communication and digital tools
• Fluent German in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
