Tasks
For this challenging transformation project, we are looking for a person with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong leadership skills for the role of SSR Real Estate Manager.

In this key role, you will assume overall strategic and operational responsibility for SSR's Real Estate portfolio across Switzerland. You will report directly to the Finance Director and be part of the Finance Directorate management team. Together with your management team, you will help define the future landscape of SSR sites, making a decisive contribution to the long-term safeguarding of its public service mandate. In this context, you will consider real estate not only as infrastructure but also as connecting elements between people, work environments, and corporate culture. You will define and implement SSR's real estate strategy with the aim of using space more efficiently, optimising costs sustainably, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of production and media sites.

• Development and implementation of SSR's real estate strategy
• Leadership and development of an active real estate organisation across Switzerland comprising over one hundred employees
• Responsibility for a real estate portfolio of great strategic, technological, and social significance
• Implementation of the site strategy, continuous increase in operational efficiency, and sustainable optimisation of space and infrastructure costs
• Development of SSR's main sites, particularly the production centres in Geneva/Ecublens and Comano, as well as the SRF site in Leutschenbach
• Responsibility for master plans, investment planning, and long-term development of the real estate portfolio
• Management of complex construction, renovation, and transformation programmes
• Representation of SSR's real estate interests to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, authorities, partners, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• University degree and advanced training in real estate management or a related field
• Several years of proven experience in leadership roles within a complex organisation
• Experience managing large construction, development, or transformation projects
• Strong strategic and entrepreneurial skills, as well as the ability to reconcile diverse interests and develop sustainable solutions
• Experience liaising with corporate management, boards of directors, authorities, and political interest groups
• Excellent command of German and good knowledge of at least one other national language
