The locally rooted Wasser- und Elektrizitätswerk Steinhausen AG (WESt) supplies around 10,000 residents as well as numerous commercial enterprises in Steinhausen with electricity and drinking water. And it has done so reliably, economically and environmentally responsibly for over 100 years. In addition, WESt offers innovative and customer-friendly solutions in connectivity and communication. A team of 14 motivated employees works daily to ensure a secure supply and sustainable infrastructure. Managing Director

You report directly to the Board of Directors, regularly report to its President and support strategic matters. In addition to personnel and business management, you form the executive management together with the administrative manager. You directly manage the eight employees in the technical office, water network construction, electricity network construction and metering. Together with your team, you plan expansion and renovation projects, thus ensuring the long-term development of the networks. For larger construction and renovation projects, you take on operational responsibility. You maintain close contact with the municipality, look after business customers and maintain partnerships with neighbouring suppliers and civil engineering companies.

We are looking for a motivated and goal-oriented individual with a technical education, e.g. network electrician, electrical installer, and business management training. Your leadership experience as well as practical experience in electricity and water supply, including the regulatory framework of a utility company or water supply company, are important to us. You are familiar with the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects and bring a proven track record as a project manager. In the financial area, you have sound knowledge in budgeting, financial planning, controlling and investment planning. Furthermore, you communicate on equal terms and negotiate skilfully.
