Postdoctoral position in Biopharmacy (100%)
- 04 February 2026
- 100%
- Basel
About the job
The Biopharmacy group at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences investigates mechanisms underlying drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion. A central focus of our research is the role of drug transporters and drug-metabolizing enzymes in these processes. Both transporters and enzymes are influenced by multiple factors, including naturally occurring genetic variants, which contribute to interindividual differences in drug response and safety.
We employ a translational approach that integrates preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies with clinical investigations in our mechanistic research. Our goal is to identify predictive factors that determine a molecule's pharmacokinetic behavior and, ultimately, therapeutic outcomes.
