Information Security Manager 80 - 100%The Health Directorate of the Canton of Zurich ensures safe, high-quality, and efficient healthcare. Information security is a strategic core task for us – with clear standards, binding guidelines, and forward-looking planning.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Information Security Manager, 80 – 100%, starting immediately or by agreement, limited to 1.5 years.
Your tasks
- Active participation, assurance, and continuous optimization of operational information security within the framework of cantonal requirements for IT infrastructure, systems, and data of the Health Directorate
- Coordination and management of security-relevant incidents (Incident Response) in cooperation with the cantonal Cybersecurity Center
- Collaboration in the development and maintenance of the ISMS, in close cooperation with the team and with clear delineation of responsibilities
- Advising and supporting administrative units on all information security matters as well as professional support of digitization projects with the goal of systematically integrating security requirements from the start
- Collection and maintenance of security requirements in close coordination with specialist departments and IT operations
- Representation of information security interests in relevant committees and working groups
- Conducting and supporting risk assessments, deriving measures, and identifying and remedying vulnerabilities in critical IT components
Your profile
- Degree program (Bachelor or Master) and at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in information security or security-relevant IT operations
- Solid knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, BSI IT-Grundschutz)
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. Knowledge in cloud security (Azure, GovCloud) is an advantage
- Certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CAS/MAS Information Security) desired
- Structured, independent working style and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly
- Team-oriented personality with willingness to actively contribute
- Experience working with committees and stakeholders and ideally in the public administration environment
- Very good German skills (at least level C1); English skills in a professional context are an advantage
