Responsibilities:
- Design and development of systems and machines in the field of plant and mechanical engineering
- Creation of drafts, detailed drawings, and parts lists
- Carrying out calculations and simulations to verify designs
- Collaboration with other departments such as manufacturing, sales, and project management
- Support of customer projects and advising customers on technical questions
- Optimisation of existing designs regarding functionality, cost, and quality
- Compliance with standards and norms in the field of plant and mechanical engineering
- Monitoring manufacturing processes and quality controls
Qualifications:
- Completed basic training as a designer EFZ
- Further education as a technician HF or equivalent
- Very good knowledge of SolidWorks
- At least 5 years of professional experience in plant and mechanical engineering
- Good knowledge of common CAD programmes
- Experience in project management
- Independent and reliable working style
- Very good German and good English skills
