Head of Finance and Local Administration (100%)
Profile:
Ensure the planning and efficient use of financial, administrative and organisational resources, in line with the objectives of the Cantonal Hospital Authority (EOC) and the EOC Rehabilitation Clinic (CREOC).
The Head of Finance and Local Administration, a member of the local management, ensures the economic-financial sustainability and the smooth running of the Clinic's administrative processes through planning, control and monitoring of resources, economic-financial reporting and support to management in strategic and operational planning processes, in compliance with EOC directives and the applicable regulatory framework.
Necessary requirements:
- Ensure financial planning, budgeting and forecasting at the local level
- Coordinate and develop economic and analytical controlling processes
- Ensure clear, reliable and decision-support oriented periodic reporting
- Monitor costs, revenues, investments and performance indicators
- Collaborate with management and service managers to improve economic efficiency
- Coordinate and develop the Finance and Local Administration team
- Coordinate local administrative processes, ensuring uniformity, quality and operational continuity at the Faido and Novaggio sites
- Ensure the proper functioning of administrative activities supporting management, clinical services and employees
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, financial and public law regulations
- Provide hospital executives with the necessary and correct training and information regarding analytical accounting and related monitoring tools.
Required profile:
- Higher education in Business Administration or Diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting or Expert in finance and controlling or equivalent qualifications; additional training in administrative/management fields is a preferential qualification
- Several years of experience in similar roles with financial and administrative responsibilities, preferably in a hospital environment or complex organisations
- Strong skills in analytical accounting, management control, reporting and administrative processes
- Good knowledge of administrative, organisational and support processes in healthcare or institutional settings
- Ability to strategically interpret economic-financial data and translate it into operational guidance to support management
- Experience in team management and development is a preferential qualification
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Attitude for interdisciplinary collaboration and working in complex institutional contexts
- Proficiency in main IT systems and programmes, with particular attention to management, accounting and administrative tools
- Excellent spoken and written Italian; good knowledge of a second national language is a preferential qualification.
