To support our learners, we are looking for a flexible, patient, and reliable personality by arrangement.
The St. Jakob Foundation in Zurich offers around 450 protected workplaces and daily structures for people with disabilities. These are supported by 150 specialists. At the same time, the St. Jakob Foundation enables people with and without support needs to enter the world of work. Around 40 training positions are available. We are looking for a learning coach for our learners at the PrA and EBA levels, who are completing training in the bakery, carpentry, electronics, kitchen, office, facility management, or retail.
What you bring:
- In training for a teaching diploma or studying BSc / MSc Applied Psychology or experience in the field of support and tutoring or private tutoring
- Very good manners and pronounced social competence
- Flexible, resilient, and communicative
- Great independence
- Excellent oral and written German skills
- High social competence, empathy, and ability to understand others
- Team player and ability to set boundaries
Together with the team, you will primarily support learners who need post-school support due to weak academic performance. Support usually takes place in a 1:1 setting. You have the freedom to design the learning session. Additionally, we will involve you in the planning and execution of learner excursions, introduction days, and graduation celebrations.
