For the study start in summer (week 33) or autumn (week 45) 2027, we are filling

eight study places for dipl. Nursing Specialist HF

Tasks

Nursing specialists HF bear professional responsibility throughout the entire nursing process. They are responsible for planning, execution, delegation, and monitoring of nursing measures. After obtaining detailed information about the nursing needs and requirements of the patients, they create a nursing concept. They carry out nursing measures as a team and monitor their effect and success. They observe the course of the illness and the recovery process closely. In the nursing documentation, they record the latest developments daily and share their knowledge during ward reports and medical rounds. Nursing specialists HF are repeatedly confronted with challenging situations in their work: they support patients in various physical and psychological conditions and accompany people in all life situations.

Requirements

For the shortened course (start summer & autumn), a qualification as a Health Specialist EFZ and a trial internship in the acute sector are required.

For the 3-year training, we are looking for persons without a FaGe qualification, with the following requirements:

Completion of at least a 3-year vocational training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ)

Technical college certificate or gymnasial Matura

Our Learning Support

During the course, you can gain experience on nursing wards of various disciplines at Spital Schwyz. You will be closely supervised during the internships by our experienced vocational training staff on the wards. Throughout the entire training period, the support of a practical instructor ensures the accompaniment of your individual learning process.
