As part of a long-term project assignment, you will take on the professional responsibility for the technical support and engineering of telecommunications and remote control infrastructures.

Your main tasks

• Professional support and engineering of telecommunications and remote control infrastructures
• Further development of data transmission, communication and remote control systems as well as creation of system architectures and concepts (including WAN, telephony and remote control technology)
• Preparation of studies, requirement specifications, preliminary projects as well as cost and effort estimates for new constructions and conversions
• Technical support of project management in the field of telecommunications and remote control technology
• Support in operations (Level 1 and Level 2 support) in fault analysis
• Ensuring the management system-compliant implementation of occupational safety, health and environmental protection

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in telecommunications or equivalent technical training (e.g. Technician HF)
• 4–5 years of professional experience in telecommunications
• Very good knowledge of relevant communication technologies (fibre optics, WDM, IP, MPLS, VoIP etc.)
• Good knowledge of secondary technology in substations
• Experience in planning, realisation, commissioning, maintenance or operation of telecommunications systems
• Analytical and structured working style with the ability to clearly present complex issues
• Team-oriented, flexible and independent personality
• Languages: German (native), French or Italian (basic knowledge advantageous), English (basic knowledge)
• Confident handling of SharePoint, trouble ticket systems and Microsoft Office
