The bankruptcy office, based in St.Gallen with regional offices in Wil, Rapperswil-Jona, and Buchs, is responsible for carrying out all bankruptcy procedures concerning private individuals, companies, and over-indebted estates.
To strengthen the Staff and Support department at the headquarters, we are looking for a proactive personality from July 1, 2026, or by arrangement as
Clerk Bankruptcy (m/f/d)
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: St.Gallen
What to expect
- You support the bankruptcy officers in processing bankruptcy procedures and gain insight into different industries, issues, and life situations
- You work independently as well as under instruction in bankruptcy procedures
- You conduct oral and written correspondence with debtors, creditors, as well as with authorities and courts
- You support accounting and take on responsibility for creditor and case accounting on a deputy basis
- You assist with cash management and, together with the team, ensure monitoring of payment transactions and timely processing
- You participate in promoting young talent
What distinguishes you
- Commercial training, preferably in public administration
- Experience in accounting is an advantage
- Good IT user skills (M365)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Reliable and motivated personality with a structured and independent working style, quick comprehension, and interconnected thinking
