As a member of the executive management, you take overall technical responsibility for ZAUGG and lead a team of around 10 people from development, design, and technical documentation. Your focus is on municipal technology. You connect market and customer needs with product innovation and ensure that this results in economical and production-ready solutions.

Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for technology, design, and development as well as leadership and further development of the team of around 10 people
- Market- and customer-oriented further development of our product portfolio as well as development and implementation of the product, technology, and innovation strategy
- Identifying market, customer, and technology trends and translating them into innovative, competitive, and economical products
- Planning, prioritising, and managing development and design projects regarding quality, costs, and deadlines
- Ensuring technical production readiness – from drawings and parts lists to approvals and effective change management
- Developing robust, standardised, manufacturing-, assembly- and service-friendly products in close collaboration with sales, product management, AVOR, purchasing, production, and customer service
- Ensuring norm-, quality- and safety-compliant development, testing, and validation of our products
- Technical coordination with project-related railway engineering on shared technologies, assemblies, and products
- Active participation in the strategic and organisational further development of ZAUGG as a member of the executive management
Your profile:
- Technical education at FH, HF, ETH/TU level or equivalent, preferably in mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, or mechatronics
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in development, design, or engineering, ideally in mechanical or vehicle construction
- Strong understanding of product development as well as market and customer needs and enthusiasm for driving new products forward
- Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly as well as experience with CAD/PDM/ERP and technical change and approval processes
- Pragmatic, entrepreneurial, and implementation-strong personality who enjoys working closely with employees, production, and customers
- Very good German and English skills as well as good French skills
