With our core competencies in forming, welding, laser processing, CNC machining, waterjet cutting, and non-destructive testing, we focus on the processing of nickel- and cobalt-based alloys.
For our production team at the Aarburg site, we are looking for an immediate start for a
Plant and Equipment Builder / Welder (Specialising in Robotic Welding) (m/f/d, 100%)
Your main tasks include
- Independent programming and optimisation of welding robot systems
- Setting up, operating, and continuously improving existing robot programmes
- Performing welding work on demanding components made of nickel-based alloys (e.g. Inconel, Hastelloy)
- Contributing to and further developing the robotic welding technology in the company
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and processes (e.g. Nadcap)
- Welding on the robot
Your secondary tasks include
- Welding on rotary and longitudinal machines and spot welding
- Documenting and updating work papers and welding instructions
- Co-responsibility for maintenance and care of the equipment
- Ensuring order and cleanliness at the workplace
- Recording operational data
- General tinsmith work (grinding, straightening, bending, etc.)
Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship as a plant and equipment builder or comparable training
- Expertise in robotic welding programming
- Active role in process improvements and know-how in robotic welding setup
- Further training in welding advantageous, especially welder certifications according to EN ISO 9606-4
- Independent and responsible working style
- Ensuring compliance with customer requirements and specifications
- Support in technological advancements in the production area
- Enjoyment of challenging welding tasks
- Reliable, flexible, and resilient
- Willingness to work early and late shifts
- Good German language skills
