Operational Manager for Steam and Utilities ProductionAs the operational manager for steam and utilities production, you assist the department head in the daily management of activities. A true coordination point between production teams, support services, and partners, you directly contribute to the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of all installations necessary for the production and distribution of steam and utilities within the Monthey industrial park.
Coordinate operational activities related to the production and distribution of steam and utilities, in compliance with safety and environmental protection requirementsDevelop and coordinate operational planning with production teams and support services to ensure continuity and reliability of installationsMonitor operational performance using relevant indicators, analyse discrepancies, and propose necessary actionsPrepare decision-making materials and facilitate the department head’s arbitrationsFoster collaboration between teams and ensure smooth information flow among all stakeholdersIdentify operational skill needs and contribute, together with the department head and team leader, to maintaining and developing the expertise required for operationsEnsure availability and updating of operational documentationCoordinate operational interfaces with internal and external partnersLead continuous improvement plans and coordinate the implementation of corrective measures in case of deviationsEnsure, when necessary, continuity of operational coordination in the absence of the department head, within defined delegationsA degree in engineering (EPF or HES) or equivalent trainingProven experience in an industrial environment in the field of energy production or utilitiesAn open personality towards change and innovation, capable of taking initiatives and adapting to an evolving contextStrong communication and negotiation skills with various partnersAbility to overcome operational challenges, being action-, results-, and continuous improvement-orientedAbility to organise resources, prioritise, and make pragmatic decisionsCapacity to create a climate of trust, cooperation, and respect for diversityAbility to give meaning, unite around a collective project, and mobilise teamsA strong corporate culture based on collaboration, trust, and respectA cutting-edge technological environment within an SME rooted in the regional economic fabricReal professional development opportunities, with continuous training as a strategic pillarAttractive conditions, including advantageous social benefits and flexibility promoting work-life balanceAPPLY
