For my client, a medium-sized trading company in Central Switzerland, I am looking for an experienced and reliable individual for finance and accounting. In this versatile role, you will manage the financial accounting, provide reliable decision-making bases, and help shape the processes within your area of responsibility.

Your tasks

You will independently manage the financial accounting and ensure correct, timely processing. You will prepare the monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR). You are responsible for the timely preparation of VAT returns. You will take on monthly controlling and reporting for internal and external stakeholders. You will prepare audit documents and professionally support the audit. You will be the contact person for customers, banks, and the audit firm. You will work closely with the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams.

Your profile

A completed commercial apprenticeship as well as further training in finance and accounting, fiduciary services, or business administration at HF level or with a federal professional certificate. Several years of professional experience in a comparable role. Sound knowledge of financial accounting and confidence in preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to OR. Good knowledge of VAT and reporting. Enjoyment of working with numbers as well as a structured, precise, and independent working style. Responsibility, integrity, and a solution-oriented approach to your tasks. Team spirit and a strong service orientation – even when things get hectic.
