Training as Surgical Technical Assistant (OTA) (m/f/d)What do we offer you?

Practical training
The practical training comprises a total of 2,500 hours and takes place, among other areas, in the following departments:
Visceral surgery
Trauma surgery and orthopaedics
Gynaecology and urology
Other surgical specialist departments
Outpatient surgery
Central emergency department
Endoscopy and other functional departments
Cardiac catheter laboratory
Surgical nursing wards
Anaesthesia department
Medical device reprocessing unit (AEMP)
Theoretical training
Approximately 2,100 hours of theoretical and practical lessons at ZAB Gesundheitsberufe GmbH in Gütersloh - close integration of theory and practice through qualified teachers and practical instructors
What do you bring?
- Intermediate school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or
- Secondary school leaving certificate with at least two years of completed vocational training or
- Completed training as a nursing assistant (m/f/d) or (technical) university entrance qualification
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level B2)
- Health suitability for work in the operating service
- Interest in medical procedures and modern operating technology
- Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team and reliability
- Enjoyment in dealing with people as well as communication skills and empathy
