Precision Optician EFZ
The Job Profile
- You manufacture high-precision optical components such as lenses, prisms, mirrors, and other optical parts with very high accuracy
- From optical, mechanical, and often also electronic components, you assemble units that form the key components in medical instruments or are used in the industrial sector
- Integrated into our manufacturing team, you will learn all the necessary manual and machine manufacturing processes for the production of optical components, the precise measurement and testing, as well as the assembly into optical systems
- You create all necessary CNC programs, learn to set up and operate CNC-controlled machines, including the associated automation
- You ensure our claim to Swiss Precision through regular checks during the manufacturing process. For this, you will learn to handle high-precision measuring instruments and complex measuring devices
- Integrated into our team, you communicate with the upstream and downstream company areas
- You monitor, coordinate, and document the production processes
The Requirements
- School diploma, preferably a higher educational qualification
- Interest in mathematics and physics
- Skill, endurance, and pronounced fine motor skills
- Curiosity, high commitment, and self-motivation
- Spatial thinking ability and high quality awareness
- Team ability and reliability
