Quality Technician (100%)
Starting date: as soon as possible
We are looking for a skilled, hands-on, and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our components and products meet the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to product excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction within a dynamic and innovative environment.
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for supplier quality control, part and product inspections, testing, and troubleshooting. You will also work closely with Quality Engineers to resolve production and product issues, support corrective actions, and contribute to investigation and ongoing process improvements. The role requires a practical, flexible approach and a strong ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
What you will own:
Quality Control, Inspection & Testing
- Perform quality controls on purchased and manufactured parts according to schedules, control instructions, and design documentation.
- Interpret and analyze part drawings and specifications to guide inspection, testing, and validation activities.
- Conduct production testing, troubleshooting, and final functional validation to ensure product compliance.
- Support other departments with qualification and validation testing activities.
Non-conformance Management
- Record and track non-compliances in the ERP system, ensuring timely follow-up and communication.
- Collaborate with the Operation and R&D team to provide real-time troubleshooting support.
- Identify and isolate non-compliant products (quarantine process) and initiate corrective actions.
- Investigate non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and report findings.
Documentation & Reporting
- Document and share inspection results in a timely and clear manner with relevant teams.
- Prepare quality statistics and reports, and review production records for compliance.
- Maintain accurate records following good documentation practices.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify potential product quality issues and escalate promptly.
- Contribute to corrective action implementation and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure testing equipment is regularly checked and maintained in optimal condition.
Your profile:
- ES technician diploma in electronics, quality, or a related field (TQ1/TQ2 certification is a plus).
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of statistical techniques (confidence intervals, control charts, tolerance bands, standard deviation, etc.).
- Fluent in French, with good English communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Responsible, precise, and rigorous, with a flexible and team-oriented working style.
- Curious and eager to learn new concepts, skills, and tools to enhance performance and efficiency.
