For our production facility in Zollikofen BE, we are looking for an independent and solution-oriented person.Together with the production management, you ensure that our plant-based innovations/Seitan products are produced efficiently, in absolute top quality, and on time. You are not only a planner and optimiser but above all a leader who inspires, supports, and exemplifies a high level of commitment and personal responsibility within our production team.
This position offers varied and interesting tasks in all areas of production as well as internal exchange within frigemo/fenaco and with our customers and suppliers.

Planning is everything:
You have production and personnel planning (including work preparation / AVOR) firmly under control
Leadership with heart & mind:
With a high leadership standard, you promote and qualify your team with a cooperative and modern leadership style
Quality without compromise:
You are responsible for in-process controls, seamless documentation, and enforcing our hygiene and quality standards (GMP, FSSC)
Optimising processes:
Stagnation is regression. You identify potentials and actively drive continuous improvements (CIP, Lean) as well as cost and efficiency increases
Teamplay:
You work closely and on equal footing with adjacent production departments as well as quality assurance (QA), HR, and external service providers
You also pitch in with general production tasks when needed
We look forward to this profile
- A completed apprenticeship as a food technologist EFZ, cook EFZ, or a comparable qualification in the food industry (further education at the level of a higher technical school is a clear plus)
- A good portion of passion for fresh, sustainable, and vegan foods
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team to top performance
- Business acumen, process understanding (CIP, Lean), and an absolute hands-on mentality
- You are well versed in compliance with quality and hygiene guidelines (HACCP, ISO etc.)
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form (level C1 or native language)
- Proficient use of office tools and ERP systems (ideally SAP)
