About the job

Theatre Casino Zug is the largest touring venue in Central Switzerland. It hosts national and international theatre, music, and dance productions. Additionally, the venue is rented out for socio-cultural events, congresses, conferences, weddings, and events of all kinds.

Your training:

The apprenticeship to become an Event Specialist EFZ lasts 4 years. At Theatre Casino Zug, you will be trained in stage technology, lighting, sound, and video. In the inter-company courses as well as at the TBZ Zurich, you will learn, among other things:

• Safety standards in event technology
• Planning and execution of productions and events
• Material management
• Use of special effects as well as conference and event technology

The work is varied and sometimes physically demanding. Irregular working hours, evening and weekend shifts are part of everyday professional life.

You bring with you:

• Good secondary school leaving certificate
• Interest in technology, culture, and events
• Good computer skills; knowledge of English is an advantage
• Good physical condition, resilience, and reliability
• Enjoyment of teamwork as well as dealing with guests and customers
• Open-minded, respectful attitude towards people of different cultures and nationalities
