Finance Team Leader / Senior Accountant (m/f/d) 80-100% at the Zurich location
Your tasks:
- You take responsibility for the operational financial accounting of our Swiss company according to OR – including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable as well as VAT.
- You manage the group accounting for Germany and Austria according to Swiss GAAP FER and ensure clean intercompany reconciliations.
- You prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure a timely, reliable and high-quality closing process.
- You are responsible for payroll accounting including social security, payroll processing and the associated administrative processes.
- You lead, promote and further develop a small team of two employees and one apprentice.
- You design efficient processes in finance and accounting and actively drive their continuous optimisation.
- You are responsible for treasury management – from liquidity planning through cash management to payment transactions.
- You further develop the CO₂ accounting – including recording, monitoring and annual closing.
- You are a competent contact person for internal and external stakeholders such as management, auditors and authorities.
- You support finance-related projects and strategic issues and actively contribute your expertise to the further development of the organisation.
Your profile:
- You have completed advanced training in finance and accounting, for example a professional certificate, diploma, HF or FH, and have several years of experience in a comparable role.
- You have solid knowledge of OR and Swiss GAAP FER as well as experience in consolidation, intercompany accounting and payroll accounting including social security.
- Ideally, you have experience with the systems Abacus and LucaNet or are willing to learn quickly.
- You work in a structured, precise and independent manner, think economically and like to take responsibility.
- You communicate clearly, reliably and bindingly – also with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have leadership experience and enjoy developing employees and apprentices.
- Ideally, you are interested in treasury management, sustainability and CO₂ accounting or already have experience in these areas.
- You communicate confidently in German and English.
