• Design and specification of electrical components as well as creation of technical specifications, functions, and interfaces – clear, comprehensible, and audit-proof
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams – from the concept phase through production to start of operation
• Integration of electrical system solutions into the overall rail vehicle system – full consideration of safety, reliability, and maintainability
• Error analysis, diagnosis, and correction, ensuring smooth operational processes
• Cross-departmental collaboration with approval, safety, documentation, structural calculation, schematic drawing, fire protection, installation planning, and other stakeholders
• Proactive risk management, quality assurance, and support during acceptance and approval procedures

• Completed technical university degree or comparable qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related fields
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the design of system components
• Very good German and English skills (level C1) in spoken and written form
• Willingness to travel (up to approx. 25%) – flexible, pragmatic, and solution-oriented
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and team player mentality
• Independent, resilient, and communicative personality
