YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
You help shape the future of rail transport – from the idea to operation. As a systems engineer, you work on demanding electrical system solutions that prioritize safety, reliability, and efficiency. Become part of a modern, highly qualified team in a forward-looking industry.
- Design and specification of electrical components as well as creation of technical specifications, functions, and interfaces – clear, comprehensible, and audit-proof
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams – from the concept phase through production to start of operation
- Integration of electrical system solutions into the overall rail vehicle system – full consideration of safety, reliability, and maintainability
- Error analysis, diagnosis, and correction, ensuring smooth operational processes
- Cross-departmental collaboration with approval, safety, documentation, structural calculation, schematic drawing, fire protection, installation planning, and other stakeholders
- Proactive risk management, quality assurance, and support during acceptance and approval procedures
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed technical university degree or comparable qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related fields
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the design of system components
- Very good German and English skills (level C1) in spoken and written form
- Willingness to travel (up to approx. 25%) – flexible, pragmatic, and solution-oriented
- Analytical thinking, structured working style, and team player mentality
- Independent, resilient, and communicative personality
