Pastry Chef at Cheval Blanc | by Peter Knogl (m/f/d)
In the versatile and responsible role as Pastry Chef, your duties include:
- Preparation of a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet specialties according to the recipes and standards of Cheval Blanc
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of all produced products
- Active participation in menu development and creation of new dessert offerings
- Efficient collaboration with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Training and guidance of new employees in the pastry section
- Compliance with all guidelines and proper storage of all food items
- Adherence to hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of HACCP guidelines
You convince us with the following qualities:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in fine dining
- Previous work as a Commis is mandatory
- Creativity and passion for making desserts and pastries
- Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit and good communication skills
- Flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends and holidays
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; French is an advantage
