The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and cantonal-wide applications for directorates, authorities, judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the Office for Informatics accompanies and supports the Canton of Zurich into the digital world.

To strengthen our Collaboration team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Cloud Expert M365 Solution Architect for consulting, further development, and operation of our M365 cloud environment.

Are you close to the pulse of the constantly changing and innovative solutions of "M365"? Do you love to always try out the latest function or application or test it for our customers? Then you are exactly right as a solution-oriented and competent team player in our Infrastructure Solutions department (Team Collaboration). We are responsible for telephony, unified and social collaboration, M365, as well as mobile service for the administration and all secondary level II schools of the Canton of Zurich.

Your tasks
- Analysis of customer needs, implementation of customer requirements, and customer consulting for our existing and future cloud environment
- Ensuring stable operation of the central infrastructure
- Support in building, operating, and maintaining private & hybrid cloud solutions (especially Microsoft Azure)
- Taking over technical projects or subproject management
- Participation in creating installation and operating instructions, integrating specialist applications into the cloud environment, and solving tasks in the area of 2nd and 3rd level support
- Coordination and accompaniment of internal and external service providers

Your profile
- Completed IT training with a focus on system technology
- Completed further training in cloud technologies and M365, certifications in M365 Azure Cloud are an advantage
- In-depth knowledge in the areas of SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, and Intune
- Independent, resilient, initiative, and socially competent personality who enjoys working in a team
- Factual & analytical thinking skills as well as healthy assertiveness
- Very good oral and written communication skills
