The Küsnacht school offers lunch, day, and holiday care for around 1,000 children from 1st kindergarten to 6th primary class in four school-complementary care facilities (KICK). The children are cared for during non-teaching times and school holidays. Additionally, there is also a family-complementary offer. In the municipally owned Heslibach nursery with 24 day places, children aged from three months to kindergarten entry with diverse social and cultural backgrounds are cared for.
For our KICK pool of ‘relief staff’ for our care facilities KICK Itschnach, KICK Goldbach, KICK Heslibach, KICK Dorf and the Heslibach nursery, we are looking to fill several positions immediately or by arrangement
‘Relief staff’ as Childcare Specialist and Group Leaders
Your tasks
- ‘Relief staff’ are needed for illness or other absences of existing employees, often at very short notice – a permanent position or a fixed part-time role is not possible
Possible working hours are Monday to Friday and daily deployment times are from 07:00 to 18:15, whereby ‘relief staff’ must be available for at least three full days per week (please indicate your three possible deployment days from Monday to Friday in the application tool)
- Educational care and support of the children
- Household tasks, including cleaning duties
- Care and leisure activities for the children in close cooperation with the group leader and the care team
- Participation in holiday care
What you bring with you
- Completed training as a FaBe EFZ (preferably specialising in children, alternatively specialising in people with disabilities in old age is also possible)
- Returnees are welcome
- Positive attitude towards people, quality awareness, teamwork, resilience and independence
- Empathetic, loving and patient in dealing with children
- Motivated, eager to learn and interested in the development of children
- Resilient, responsible as well as humorous
- Very good oral and written German skills
- Residence in the Küsnacht ZH region is an advantage
