About the job
For our client, an established long-term care institution in the Toggenburg region, we are looking for a Health Specialist EFZ (FaGe) with an additional role as a nursing trainer. You will accompany FaGe trainees in their daily practical work while also contributing your experience in nursing.
Requirements Profile
- Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ (FaGe) or an equivalent recognised qualification
- At least two years of professional experience in the relevant field
- Trainer course or willingness to complete it
- Enjoyment in training and supporting FaGe trainees
- Knowledge of the Swiss vocational education system is an advantage
- Independent, structured and responsible working style
Tasks
- Competent and relationship-oriented care and support of residents
- Supervision and training of FaGe trainees in daily practice
- Promotion of the professional and personal development of trainees
- Conducting competency assessments and qualification interviews
What to expect
- No night shifts
- Maximum one weekend per month, usually less
- Structured induction into the trainer role
- Support for further training
