2-Year Postdoctoral Fellowship
We are pleased to invite applications for a
in the field of aquatic science and technology. Eawag provides a unique research environment to address critical water-related challenges. Our interdisciplinary setting brings together a range of academic disciplines, from natural sciences to engineering and social sciences. The postdoctoral fellow will be hosted within one of Eawag’s 12 Research Departments .
Selection for this position is based on academic achievements as well as the quality and originality of the proposed research at Eawag. This fellowship is for candidates who have not previously collaborated with Eawag and who completed their doctoral degree within the two years prior to the application deadline (cut-off date 1 February 2024). Candidates expecting to complete their PhD by the end of 2026 are also eligible to apply, provided their degree is conferred before the fellowship begins.

- An abstract of up to 250 words summarizing the research proposal, written for a general scientific audience.

- A detailed description of the proposed research project to be conducted at Eawag (maximum 3 pages, including bibliography).
