The Financial Institutions division is responsible for managing, controlling and coordinating, in close collaboration with other departments such as Trade, Trade and Export Finance, Asset Management, Settlement and Payments, the international business relationships of Zürcher Kantonalbank with financial institutions such as banks and brokers. The advertised position is responsible for tasks in the area of Client Account Management. You support the Relationship Managers and are particularly responsible for the successful execution of KYC reviews as well as the processing of credit applications. In addition, you are responsible for the implementation, compliance and monitoring of regulatory, supervisory as well as internal and business policy requirements for the customer segment Banks & Financial Institutions.
Your tasks
- Proactive involvement in the KYC inbound and outbound process in connection with our international banks & Financial Institutions
- Active participation in the risk processes for counterparty and country limits
- Processing of internal and external enquiries and orders in customer administration as well as transaction processing
- Participation in strategic projects
- Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines/directives as well as legal and regulatory requirements in the customer segment Banks & Financial Institutions by managing the internal control system
- Providing user support for the systems managed (internal/external) and acting as an interface to IT and specialist departments
Your profile
- Education in General or International Management, Banking and Finance (HF, FH, University) or currently in training
- Several years of experience dealing with Financial Institutions or other corporate or institutional clients including KYC and Compliance
- Customer-oriented, resilient personality with a strong solution focus and high quality awareness
- Independent, precise and reliable working style as well as a high willingness to provide service
- Very good PC user skills (especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
- Strong communication skills and an integrative personality
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional language skills are an advantage (French, Spanish)
- Strong team player
