Health Specialist - Night Shift 80 - 100 %
Diaconis operates three business areas: living and care in old age, palliative care, and professional integration. Since its foundation in 1844, Diaconis has been committed as a non-profit organisation to ensuring that people in fragile life situations are cared for, looked after, and supported according to their needs. Our team comprises around 300 employees across several locations in the city of Bern, Ostermundigen, and Biel.
We offer caring and professional care and support around the clock in our three nursing homes Oranienburg, Belvoir, and Altenberg, as well as the senior residence Villa Sarepta. The proximity to the city and the Salem Hospital, as well as our own medical team, make our homes the first choice for pleasant and safe living in old age. Diaconis provides a home for people with different needs and always welcomes guests for holiday and transitional stays.
Your tasks with us
- You lovingly care for and support our residents
- You maintain a trusting relationship with the residents and apply your expertise, such as kinaesthetics, basal stimulation, validation, and palliative care
- You manage and monitor medication administration according to applicable regulations and protocols
- You have a wide scope of action and work independently
What you bring with you
- Completed nursing training (Health Specialist EFZ)
- Joy in actively shaping needs-oriented care and support
- Good IT skills and openness in dealing with technical aids
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least B2)
